In a game that had all the excitement of a mortgage payment, the Buffalo Bills collected a victory over the Cleveland Browns 13-6 in week 14 of the NFL season.  The Bills stomped out any realistic chance for the Browns, who came into the game victors in four out of their last six games, at an outside chance as a wild card playoff team.

The Browns set the tone early by driving the field on their very first posession of the game and opting to kick a field goal on the one yard line on fourth down.  The Bills came into the match ranked dead last in run defense, yet the Browns opted to settle for three points.  In 55 minutes of playing time, the anemic Browns offense was unable to sniff the Bills goaline turning the ball over three times and gaining just 187 yards for the game.

While the Browns were in the game till late in the fourth quarter, the offense never posed a serious threat as the Bills were able to run out the clock and hand the Browns their eight loss of the season.  In an up and down season, Cleveland has shown the ability to play up to better competition (Patriots, Saints) and at the same time down to lesser competeition (Carolina, Buffalo).

Look for the Browns to establish their own level of play as they travel to Paul Brown Stadium to face the woeful 2-11 Bengals in the "Battle of Ohio."
